Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to advance test automation across cloud, AI, data, and enterprise solutions in a remote US-based role. You will design, build, and continuously improve automation frameworks, write production-quality test code, and partner with development teams to embed quality engineering throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of experience as an SDET or in test-focused software engineering roles.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major UI automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Solid experience automating REST and/or gRPC APIs.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with database validation.
• Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and modern web architectures.
• Excellent debugging, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and continuously improve automation frameworks.
• Write production-quality test code and contribute to code reviews and design reviews.
• Partner with development teams to embed quality engineering throughout the SDLC.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise the bar through code and design reviews.
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations to translate requirements into robust solutions.
