Job summary

eHealthinsurance Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to ensure quality of software products through automation. You will design, build, and maintain test frameworks and work closely with engineers and product managers in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes API and web testing, test strategy development, and integration with CI/CD pipelines. Remote collaboration with teams in multiple time zones is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as either a Software Development Engineer or SDET.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with SQL and writing queries.
• Experience with automated test frameworks and test suites (Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Experience with CI/CD processes and version control.

Responsibilities

• Tests complex API and web-based applications with database back-end references.
• Reproduces, debugs, and isolates problems and verifies fixes.
• Designs and maintains automated test frameworks and test suites to validate functionality, performance, and scalability.
• Designs and implements automated testing processes and tools for software products.
• Collaborates with software engineers to ensure testability and maintainability across the lifecycle.
• Executes automated tests and analyzes results to identify defects and bottlenecks.
