Job summary

Keeper Security is seeking a Senior SDET to design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for RESTful and GraphQL APIs with a focus on reliability, security, and performance.

You will collaborate with developers, QA, and product managers to validate API functionality, enforce secure access patterns, and identify vulnerabilities. The role offers a 100% remote arrangement with hybrid options for CA-area candidates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA automation experience with a strong emphasis on API testing.
• Experience with API test frameworks such as Postman, REST Assured, Pytest.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience developing automated tests; Pytest required; Jest preferred.
• Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, API keys, and common API vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of automated test frameworks for RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Define API validation strategies including authentication, authorization, rate limiting, and error handling.
• Conduct security-focused testing and verify access controls across services.
• Integrate automated API and security tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Collaborate with developers to ensure API contract adherence and backward compatibility.
• Evaluate secure integrations with third‑party services and identity providers.
• Analyze test failures and incidents to improve coverage and reliability.
• Mentor automation engineers and contribute to roadmap planning.
