Startale is partnering with SBI Group to build a next-generation decentralized exchange with a strong emphasis on automated testing and high-throughput performance.

The Senior Software Engineer, Quality Engineering (SDET) leads the testing architecture, AI-powered quality systems, and CI/CD tooling across backend, frontend, and blockchain components to enable rapid, reliable ship cycles in a high-stakes trading environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in SDET, Quality Engineering, or software engineering with a testing focus.
• Experience testing an exchange or trading system: order types, matching, trading flows.
• You build test systems, not test cases. Automation, CI/CD, Docker.
• API testing across REST, JSON-RPC, WebSocket.
• You already use AI daily for test design, code, and failure analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve the quality engineering platform across backend, frontend, and blockchain integrations.
• Define testing architecture across unit, integration, contract, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Build and maintain reusable testing frameworks, shared libraries, fixtures, and developer tooling.
• Design reliable test data generation and management strategies for deterministic testing.
• Continuously improve developer experience around testing and quality engineering.
