Job summary

New York Life Insurance Co. is seeking a senior-level Scrum Master to drive Agile delivery excellence within the Customer & Field Service Experience ART. You will guide multiple teams to improve predictability and remove impediments, balancing execution with continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has extensive SAFe/Scrum experience, strong facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, in a hybrid environment. Excellent communication is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, or RTE.
• Deep knowledge of SAFe, Scrum, Kanban and Lean-Agile.
• Proficiency in Agile tools (Jira, Rally) and delivery metrics.
• Strong organizational and facilitation skills to navigate ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach multiple Agile teams to deliver against the Value Stream roadmap.
• Partner with Product and Technology leadership to plan, prioritise, and deliver value.
• Facilitate key Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
• Identify and resolve delivery risks, cross-team dependencies, and blockers.
• Analyze delivery data and metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Serve as a thought leader and coach in Agile and SAFe practices.
