Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to join a leading insurance organization's product team. The ideal candidate will enhance Agile maturity initiatives and improve team delivery processes across the enterprise. With at least 8 years of IT experience, the candidate should have a Certified Scrum Master designation and strong skills in Agile delivery leadership.

This role requires a proactive approach to facilitate Scrum ceremonies, partner with various stakeholders, and ensure teams deliver consistent business value.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall IT/software delivery experience with at least 5+ years as a Scrum Master.
• Experience acting as an Agile Delivery Lead, driving sprint execution and holding teams accountable.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and experience coaching Agile teams.

Job description

A leading insurance organization is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to join their growing product organization. This individual will support a newly formed product team as the company continues driving digital, cloud, and Agile maturity initiatives across the enterprise. The organization has already completed a large Agile transformation, so this person will focus less on implementing Agile from the ground up and more on optimizing team delivery, improving processes, and ensuring product teams are consistently delivering business value.

This Scrum Master will partner closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, Technical Program Managers, Business Analysts, QA teams, software development teams, and external vendor development partners to drive successful Agile execution. They will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, manage sprint execution, ensure Jira accuracy, track Agile metrics, remove blockers, and hold teams accountable to sprint goals and PI objectives. The ideal candidate will be a strong Agile delivery leader who understands the “why” behind Agile practices and can confidently drive teams forward while fostering collaboration across technical and business stakeholders.

Must Haves

• 8+ years of overall IT/software delivery experience with at least 5+ years as a Scrum Master supporting software development/product teams
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with strong understanding of Agile principles and experience driving value beyond standard Scrum ceremonies
• Experience acting as a true Agile Delivery Lead - driving sprint execution, removing blockers, improving team performance, and holding teams accountable to outcomes
• Experience coaching Agile teams through process improvements, best practices, and continued Agile maturity
• Experience working in a scaled Agile environment including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, dependency management, and cross-team alignment
• Prior background in the SDLC (Project Management, QA, Development, Business Analysis, etc.) with strong Jira experience for sprint tracking, metrics, and delivery management
