Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Missile Defense Integration seeks a Sr Principal Engineer Software – Lead SW Test Engr to join the C2BMC program team in Colorado Springs. The role focuses on analyzing test data, verifying requirements, and supporting test tools within an Agile release train.

The ideal candidate will lead a small testing team, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and possess a current Secret clearance. On-site work with travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics with 8 years’ experience, or Master’s with 6 years, or 12 years as alternative.
• Active in-scope Government-issued Secret security clearance at start.
• Occasional travel between facilities and Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Analyze test data to verify system design and implementation.
• Support software development team in verification and validation.
• Lead a small technical testing team and interact with stakeholders.
• Document software deficiency reports and present results.
