Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE/Math/Physics with 8 years’ software leadership experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance at start is required.
• Experience leading agile software teams and product ownership.
• Proficiency in Java and large distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Product Owner and technical lead for a large, distributed Java-based system.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to a cross-functional Agile software team.
• Perform in-depth analysis and optimization of a distributed system written in Java.
• Provide technical consulting to regional teams and stakeholders to align capabilities.
• Gather and refine requirements to meet mission and test objectives.
• Define acceptance criteria for backlog items and ensure value delivery.
• Remove blockers to support team progress and maintain release commitments.
• Support design, implementation, testing, and integration of the evolving codebase.
