Job summary

Kentro seeks a Scrum Master II to support the FAA ATLAS program, leading agile delivery across a large portfolio in a remote, US-based role with EST hours. The candidate will coach teams, facilitate ceremonies, and ensure delivery visibility, dependencies management, and risk mitigation to maximize performance.

Ideal candidates have a CS/IS/Business degree, 2–4 years in agile delivery, and experience with Jira/Confluence, SAFe/Scrum, and AI-assisted backlog refinement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 2–4 years of experience in Scrum Master, project management, or Agile delivery roles.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies in distributed/remote environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Experience delivering data, analytics, or software development projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience applying AI tools to backlog refinement, sprint reporting, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and coach Agile teams supporting FAA initiatives to improve flow, predictability, quality, and timely delivery of solutions.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, system demos, retrospectives, etc.
• Maintain delivery visibility across scope, schedule, risks, and dependencies; coordinate cross-team dependencies and report status to leadership.
• Facilitate identification and resolution of dependencies and risks; help implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration with architects, other Scrum Masters, product owners, and system teams to remove impediments.
• Drive continuous improvement through metrics and feedback loops focused on flow, quality, and value.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders, product owners, engineers, and teams to align on priorities while preserving Product Owner accountability.
• Drive Agile best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the team.
• Facilitate adoption of DevSecOps delivery practices, CI/CD flow, and Kanban/Scrum to reduce bottlenecks and improve lead time.
• Coach teams toward higher performance, engagement, accountability, and ownership of commitments.
