Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Scrum Master/Agile Delivery Lead to guide two delivery teams in fast-paced software projects. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach teams on Agile practices, and partner with Product Owners, engineering, and stakeholders to ensure timely sprint commitments and high-quality releases.

The role emphasizes removing impediments, driving continuous improvement, and building strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product/project development experience or 3+ years on Agile delivery teams.
• Strong hands-on experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies including Kanban, backlog refinement, story splitting, sprint estimation, velocity tracking.
• Hands-on proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and collaboration with software engineering teams.
• Experience supporting multiple Agile/Scrum teams in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Proven ability to remove impediments, resolve conflicts, coach teams, and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, assertive leadership style with accountability for priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Scrum ceremonies and support Agile execution across two delivery teams.
• Coach teams on Agile best practices, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and remove delivery roadblocks to ensure timely sprint execution.
• Partner with Product Owners, engineering teams, and stakeholders to manage priorities and delivery commitments.
• Monitor sprint progress, team velocity, and performance metrics using Agile tools.
• Support timely software releases, defect resolution, and platform enhancements.
