Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group seeks an experienced Agile Delivery Lead in California to drive Scrum ceremonies, coach cross-functional teams, and remove delivery blockers. You will collaborate with Product Owners, engineering, and stakeholders to manage priorities and commitments, while tracking velocity and sprint health to ensure timely releases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years product/project development experience or 3+ years on Agile delivery teams.
• Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies (Kanban, backlog refinement, story splitting, sprint estimation, velocity).
• Hands-on proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet.

• Coach teams on Agile best practices, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and remove delivery roadblocks to ensure timely sprint execution.
• Partner with Product Owners, engineering teams, and stakeholders to manage priorities and delivery commitments.
• Monitor sprint progress, team velocity, and performance metrics using Agile tools.
• Support timely software releases, defect resolution, and platform enhancements.

Job description

• 5+ years of product/project development experience or 3+ years working on Agile delivery teams.
• Strong hands-on experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, including Kanban, backlog refinement, story splitting, sprint estimation, and velocity tracking.
• Hands‑on proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
• Strong technical understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working with software engineering and product delivery teams.
• Experience supporting multiple Agile/Scrum teams in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
• Proven ability to remove impediments, resolve conflicts, coach teams, and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Proactive, assertive leadership style with the ability to hold teams accountable and manage competing priorities.
