Job summary

Sabel Systems is seeking an experienced Agile Leader to guide multiple DoD-focused software teams in Beavercreek, OH. You will drive Scrum ceremonies, release planning, and collaboration with government stakeholders to align sprint goals with program objectives.

Responsibilities include translating change requests into structured work items, enforcing DoR/DoD criteria, and supporting estimation and delivery pipelines to improve cycle times and quality across programs.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
• 5+ years leading Agile teams and delivering enterprise IT software capabilities.
• Experience managing agile workflows using Jira and coordination in DoD/Federal DevSecOps environments.
• Certifications such as CSM, PSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies across multiple cross-functional Agile teams on two‑week sprints.
• Lead Release Planning and PI Planning to scope roadmaps and MVPs.
• Coordinate with AF-PLM leadership, government test stakeholders, and ISMT data to convert requests into Epics/Features.
• Enforce DoR/DoD criteria, ensure security scanning and automated testing meet standards.
• Assist with TS-ROM estimates and track velocity using Jira/Confluence/Zephyr.
• Generate metrics for PMRs and manage defect resolution and TRR/UAT readiness.
