Job summary

Leidos is seeking a cleared Scrum Master to join the Non-Kinetic Effects Business Area in Beavercreek, OH. The role focuses on coaching, mentoring, and guiding multiple teams through Scrum adoption within a DoD context.

The position requires a current Scrum Master certification, US citizenship, and an active TS/SCI clearance. A bachelor’s degree in a related field with 4+ years of experience (or a Master’s with 2+ years) is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 4+ years of relevant professional experience or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Current Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.
• Experience working as a Scrum Master or Team Lead for a systems engineering, IT Support, or network engineering team.
• Working knowledge of application programming, database, system design, as well as web-based and client/server architectures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, and train team members in self-management and Scrum values.
• Guide teams through a maturity journey and adopt best engineering practices.
• Schedule and lead Daily Standups, Retrospectives, Sprint Planning, and Sprint Reviews.
• Partner with Product Owner to focus on short- and long-term goals with iterative delivery.
• Help teams understand empirical approaches for complex work.
• Foster high-performing team dynamics and continuous improvement.
