Job summary

Leidos in the United States seeks a Senior Scrum Master to guide agile teams delivering secure cloud modernization for the US Coast Guard. You will facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, and partner with product owners and engineers to align with mission priorities.

A strong background in Agile, JIRA/Confluence, and cross‑functional collaboration is required; U.S. citizenship and DoD clearance eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Business)
• 8+ years of experience in Agile project delivery, including 4+ years as a Scrum Master
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI‑ACP, or equivalent Agile certification
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and DevSecOps principles
• Experience using Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives, and reviews
• Coach team members on Agile principles and best practices to promote a culture of accountability and transparency
• Remove impediments and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth sprint execution
• Track and report team progress using Agile metrics and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
• Collaborate with Product Owners and technical leads to refine backlogs and prioritize work
• Support cross‑functional coordination across engineering, cybersecurity, and program management teams
• Promote continuous improvement through feedback loops and process refinement
• Ensure alignment with USCG mission priorities and Leidos delivery standards
