Barclays is seeking a Senior Scrum Master - AVP to drive delivery of strategic initiatives within Digital Asset Technology in Whippany, NJ. You will facilitate Agile ceremonies, translate business requirements into actionable work, and coordinate across engineering, product, risk, compliance, and operations.

The role emphasizes stakeholder management, risk identification, impediment removal, and leadership to foster high-performing teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience translating business needs into structured requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery priorities.
• Experience supporting Agile/Scrum technology delivery, including facilitation of ceremonies, backlog management, iteration execution, dependency management, and continuous improvement.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical, business, and control functions.
• Experience tracking delivery metrics, risks, issues, governance, and reporting across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum events and ensure they are positive, productive, and timeboxed.
• Support iteration execution with backlog refinement and stakeholder feedback.
• Identify and remove blockers to improve team flow and visibility.
• Identify and elevate risks to shield the squad from interruptions.
• Coach Agile teams and foster high-performing collaboration with stakeholders.
• Facilitate collaboration with business stakeholders, product teams, and vendors to build trust.
• Ensure data quality and participate in governance forums as applicable.
