Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation seeks a Senior Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in the Refining IT aligned Digital Product Delivery Services group. You’ll coach teams, facilitate events, and partner with Product Owners to ensure value delivery and continuous improvement across multiple teams.

You will drive scaled Agile practices, remove impediments, and help align plans with MPC's refining objectives while fostering collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant Scrum Master experience.

Responsibilities

• Establishes Agile practices (Scrum or Kanban) for multiple teams and creates optimal environments for development and collaboration.
• Facilitate team and cross-team events and coach Product Owners and leaders on team dynamics.
• Collaborate with Release Train Engineers, Portfolio Managers and vendors to align interdependencies.
• Monitor planning, set goals, define roles and develop timelines; remove impediments and improve predictability.
• Drive Agile methodology, including iteration planning, refinements, retrospectives and daily standups.
• Provide education on Agile best practices and foster continuous improvement.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
