Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP is seeking a Lead Scrum Master to drive Agile transformation within the Refining IT organization. You will coach multiple teams, facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, and partner with Product Owners to deliver value in a complex, multi-team environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of Scrum Master experience, with location in Findlay OH and a strong emphasis on continuous improvement and collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 7+ years of Scrum Master experience.
• Strong Agile knowledge and practical application in large, multi-team environments.
• Proven ability to coach teams, manage dependencies, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Establishes Agile practices (Scrum or Kanban) for multiple teams and creates optimal development environments.
• Facilitates PI planning, prioritizes backlogs with Product Owners, and removes impediments.
• Collaborates with Release Train Engineers and vendors to align interdependencies and program goals.
• Leads and mentors Product Management and Product Owners on Agile practices and backlog health.
