Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP is seeking a Scrum Master to drive agile transformation within the Refining IT group in Findlay, OH. The role focuses on servant leadership, coaching agile teams, and enabling value delivery while removing impediments and improving processes.

The candidate will partner with Product Owners, RTEs, and vendor teams to ensure alignment with MPC’s refining objectives and program increments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of Scrum Master experience required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes Agile practices (Scrum or Kanban) for multiple teams and creates optimal development environments.
• Facilitates team and cross-team events and maintains open communication.
• Coaches Product Owners and leaders on team configuration and dynamics for delivery.
• Partners with Product Owners to strengthen backlog health and streamline dependency management.
• Coordinates with RTEs, Portfolio Managers and vendor teams for PI planning alignment.
• Monitors planning and sets goals, roles, and timelines.
• Identifies obstacles and helps teams remove impediments.
• Drives Agile mindset and education across the organization.
