Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP in Findlay, Ohio seeks an experienced Scrum Master for our Refining IT Digital Product Delivery Services group. You will serve as a servant leader, coach Agile teams, facilitate events, and remove impediments to deliver value aligned with business goals.

You will partner with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, and vendor teams to improve backlog health, plan program increments, and drive continuous improvement in a high‑performing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a computer-related field.
• 5+ years Scrum Master experience required.
• Experience coaching Agile teams and delivering value.

Responsibilities

• Establish Agile practices (Scrum or Kanban) for multiple teams.
• Facilitate team and cross-team events to identify opportunities and maintain open communication.
• Coach Product Owners and leaders on team configuration for optimal delivery.
• Collaborate with Release Train Engineers, Portfolio Managers and vendors to align PI planning.
• Monitor iteration planning and set goals, roles and timelines.
• Identify obstacles and help teams remove impediments.
• Implement processes and automation to improve governance and best practices.
• Engage stakeholders in team events and drive advanced story/feature development.
