Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking a Senior Scrum Master in Denver to guide multiple Agile teams in delivering GEOINT capabilities for NGA. The role emphasizes servant leadership within SAFe, continuous improvement, and collaboration with Product Owners, RTE, and experienced Scrum Masters.

You will coach teams on Scrum and SAFe, manage impediments, and drive predictable delivery while maintaining high standards of flow and quality, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
• 8+ years of relevant experience, including 4+ years as a Scrum Master for software development teams.
• Experience operating within SAFe on a multi-team program.
• Hands-on expertise with Jira for Agile tracking, dashboards, and metrics.
• Security Clearance TS/SCI with willingness to undergo polygraph examination.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate team ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and PI Planning.
• Coach teams on Scrum and SAFe principles with a focus on flow, quality, and relentless improvement.
• Identify and remove impediments; elevate cross-team issues to the Release Train Engineer as needed.
• Track and communicate team metrics (velocity, predictability, flow) and drive data-informed improvement.
• Protect teams from scope creep and support delivery against Program Increment commitments.
• Coordinate dependencies with other teams across the Agile Release Train.
• Partner with Product Owners on backlog refinement, story quality, and acceptance criteria.

The Opportunity

• Guide high-performing Agile teams delivering GEOINT capabilities to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).
• Serve as a servant leader within a multi-team Agile Release Train operating under the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Coach teams toward continuous improvement, predictable delivery, and Agile maturity.
• Work alongside experienced Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and an RTE in a well-established delivery organization.
