Work Location: Charlotte, NC - hybrid schedule (2-3 days onsite/work from home)

Duration: 12-24 months initial contract; possible extensions and/or conversion

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of Practicing Agile Scrum Master experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Infrastructure Experience/Data Center preferred.
• Experience working with Kanban teams.

Desired Skills

• Agile Certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe, etc.) preferred.
• Knowledge of Definition of Done (DoD), Definition of Ready (DoR), and OKRs.

What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitate the scrum process with cross-functional impact involving moderately complex projects, non-projects, or maintenance work.
• Guide the scrum teams to follow Agile and Scrum practices to promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint.
• Optimize scrum team velocity to identify improvement opportunities for higher performance.
• Deliver capabilities using agile practices while following SDLC, business process mapping, and release processes to meet all risk, security, and development requirements.
• Partner with discipline managers about governance policies and adherence to standards.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies for the teams.
• Collaborate with product owners, project managers to communicate delivery and escalate risks and issues.
• Interact with internal customers and resolve issues with peers and managers.
• Exercise independent judgment under direction from leaders while understanding policies, procedures, and compliance.
