Senior Agile /Scrum Master (Hybrid) Cognizant's Digital Engineering

We are looking for a Senior Agile - Scrum Master to lead and support Agile teams in delivering high-quality software solutions. In this role, you will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove obstacles, and ensure smooth collaboration between business and technical teams. You will act as a servant leader, driving Agile standard methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and optimizing team performance. If you have strong leadership skills, a passion for Agile methodologies, and experience in managing complex projects, we'd love to have you on board.

Work Authorization

Location:Fort Mill, SC (Hybrid/Onsite) Roles & Responsibilities :

• Lead day to day execution of one or more scrum teams or project teams
• Acts as the single voice to the business and technical community on behalf of the team.
• Facilitate release and sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, driving continuous improvement and effective stakeholder engagement
• Facilitate sprint planning sessions and provide sprint commitment updates to business via status reporting as well as stakeholder review sessions
• Oversees the design, development and installation of enhancements and upgrades to systems and application software.
• Manages and enforces functional policies, procedures, and quality assurance standard methodologies.
• Manages the preparation and monitoring of budgets when necessary.
• Manages Clients and Business Stakeholders

Qualifications:

• 5-7+ years of experience
• Experience working as Scrum Master for at least 2-3 years. Experience managing Agile projects.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Experience working with globally distributed teams highly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent academic achievement;
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience working through the requirement, design, development, QA & UAT testing, implementing and delivering in release cycles, and to customers;
• Receive and relay detailed information through verbal and written communication.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in person, by telephone, by computer and in writing.
• Good knowledge on usage of Jira.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 - $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
