Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a multidisciplinary scientist to advance spatial biology research and product development focused on high‑plex tissue proteomics and biomolecule mapping within intact tissues.

You will collaborate with chemistry, computational biology, software, engineering, and microfluidics teams, reporting to R&D leadership, to push the boundaries of tissue-based biomolecule mapping in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in molecular/cell biology or related field.
• 5+ years in proteomics and tissue imaging with high‑plex multiplexing technologies.
• Hands-on tissue processing, IHC, IF, and antibody characterization.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Optimize tissue handling and processing protocols for protein staining (including FFPE samples).
• Design and execute experiments with novel imaging and biochemical platforms.
• Analyze and interpret data in collaboration with computational teams.
• Develop robust protocols for internal use across product development.
