Qualifications

• Required: BS/MS in Chemical Engineering with at least five years of work experience. PhD with no industry experience accepted.
• Relevant work experience in chemical process development.
• Demonstrated ability to design and execute an experimental program addressing process design, robustness, and productivity.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, writing, and time-management skills.
• Ability to operate within a cross-functional process development team.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe and robust manufacturing processes through process characterization, technology transfer, validation, filing, and supply support of late-stage projects in the small molecule pipeline.
• Provide scientific expertise by applying Quality Risk Management methodologies for DOE and experimental design.
• Conduct hands-on experimentation at laboratory and kilo lab scales.
• Transfer technology to commercial manufacturing facilities.
• Ensure safety and quality compliance by following cGMPs and GDPs.
• Participate in risk assessments and deviation investigations.
