Job summary

Simulations Plus is a global leader in model-informed and AI-accelerated drug development, offering fully remote work and flexible schedules. The Senior Scientist I will lead or contribute to consulting projects using QSP/QST models, with expertise in MATLAB, THALES, and related tools.

The role spans PD/MoA translation, data curation, and collaboration across therapeutic areas including oncology and hepatology.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QSP/QST modeling experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency in mathematics, dynamic systems, drug development, pharmacology.
• General knowledge of therapeutic areas and underlying biology/biochemistry.
• Experience with MATLAB, THALES, Julia, SimBiology, Monolix, GastroPlus, or C++.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, test, and use code to build and maintain sub-models.
• Represent PD and MoA, translating lab data to model parameters.
• Learn and utilize company AI solutions for technical work.
• Lead or contribute to project goals within consulting engagements.
• Contribute to R&D efforts, updating license-ready models and liver injury QST models.
• Combine modeling, software development, and project management in designated environments.
• Develop plans to deliver tasks within sponsor agreements.
