Job summary

Simulations Plus, a global leader in model-informed drug development, seeks a Senior Scientist I for QSP/QST consulting services. This fully remote, professional role leads technical execution across QSP/QST projects, leveraging MATLAB, THALES, and related tools.

The position covers multiple therapeutic areas and offers a collaborative environment with a focus on innovative science. Responsibilities include modeling development, data parameterization, project leadership, and supporting

Qualifications

5+ years of QSP/QST modeling experience or equivalent skill set.
Proficiency in mathematics, dynamic systems, drug development, pharmacology.
General knowledge of therapeutic areas including clinical endpoints and biology.
Experience with MATLAB, THALES, Julia, SimBiology, Monolix, GastroPlus, and/or C++ programming.
Experience with PBPK, PK, popPK and/or PKPD modeling.

Responsibilities

Design, write, test, and maintain sub-models representing core cellular, molecular, and biochemical processes.
Represent PD and MoA, translating lab data into model parameters and curating clinical data for calibration/validation.
Learn and utilize company AI solutions for technical work.
Lead or contribute to tasks for successful project completion.
Contribute to R&D efforts including license-ready model updates and liver injury QST models.
Combine modeling with project management across software environments.
Develop plans to deliver tasks within contract timelines.
Identify mitigation strategies to keep projects on time and budget.
Schedule meetings with collaborators.
