Atlas Data Storage, Inc. seeks a hands-on expert in Organic Electrochemistry, Electrocatalysis, and Microarray Electrosynthesis to drive high-density, high-fidelity enzymatic DNA synthesis on chip architectures.

You will bridge physical organic chemistry with CMOS hardware design, engineering the electrocatalytic environment to confine and control nano-scale reactions for massively parallel synthesis. A Ph.D. with bench-level R&D in electrochemistry and microfabricated systems is required.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry with a strong focus on Organic Electrochemistry, Electrocatalysis, or Physical Organic Chemistry.
• 2+ years (Ph.D.) of postgraduate experience in industrial R&D or academic lab with hands-on bench work.
• Experience setting up and executing organic syntheses on microelectrode arrays or functionalized solid supports.
• Solid grasp of physical organic chemistry, reaction mechanisms, and redox mediator behavior under potential control.
• Proficiency with electrochemical characterization (CV, SWV) for synthesis pathways and intermediate stability.

Responsabilités

• Design and execute high-throughput experimental plans to probe and electrochemically confine organic reactions at the micro-electrode interface.
• Develop and optimize electrochemical organic methodologies to drive transformations within high-density electrode arrays.
• Manipulate electron-transfer kinetics, radical intermediates, overpotentials, and mass transport to maximize yield and current efficiency.
• Collaborate with biochemists, microfluidics, surface chemists, and hardware designers to optimize enzyme-driven DNA synthesis.
• Document breakthroughs with detailed data reporting and present findings to R&D leadership.
• Contribute as both an individual contributor and a team member.
