Atlas Data Storage is redefining the boundaries of information technology by integrating organic electrochemistry with CMOS hardware to enable high-throughput, enzymatic DNA synthesis on high-density microelectrode arrays.

We are seeking a PhD chemist with hands-on expertise in organic electrochemistry, electrocatalysis, and microarray synthesis to master the electrochemical environment within our chip architecture and drive synthetic workflows with high fidelity.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Chemistry with emphasis on Organic Electrochemistry or Electrocatalysis.
  • Minimum 2 years (Ph.D.) of postdoctoral or industrial R&D bench experience.
  • Direct experience setting up organic syntheses on microelectrode arrays or functionalized supports.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute high-throughput experiments to probe and confine organic reactions at the micro-electrode interface.
  • Develop and optimize new organic electrochemical methodologies using potential/current control.
  • Manipulate electron-transfer kinetics and mass transport to maximize yield and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with protein biochemists, microfluidics experts, surface chemists, and CMOS designers.
  • Document breakthroughs with detailed data reports and present to R&D leadership.
  • Contribute as both an independent contributor and a team player.
