Qualifications
- B.A. / B.S. Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field
- M.S. Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field
- Ph.D. Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field
Responsibilities
- Automated oligonucleotide synthesis, deprotection and purification via standard phosphoramidite chemistry and chromatographic purification techniques.
- Conduct oligonucleotide analysis using LCMS, MALDI, UV/VIS, and HPLC/UPLC techniques. Evaluate impurities, degradation products and by-products.
- Lead and execute complex experiments, provide guidance on experimental design, analysis and interpretation of data, and communicate results.
- Interact with peers and supervisors within and across teams to provide summaries and input.
- Maintain clearly written experimental records in written and electronic formats.
- Familiar with standard software tools utilized in instrument control, data analysis, and reporting results.
