Job summary

Aequor in South San Francisco, CA is seeking a Senior Scientist to lead multiparametric and spectral flow cytometry efforts in our biomarker laboratory. The role focuses on developing and qualifying clinical biomarker assays to support multiple programs, with onsite work and a 12-month contract.

You will design experiments, select platforms, and transfer methods from literature, while collaborating with CROs, performing clinical data QC, and communicating results to teammates.

Qualifications

• Experience with conventional and spectral flow cytometry in a clinical biomarker setting.
• Strong background in multiparametric flow cytometry assays including immunophenotyping, receptor occupancy and immune-based functional assays.
• Experience with FlowJo, FCS Express, OMIQ.AI, SPADE, viSNE and CITRUS.

Responsibilities

• Monitors or follows established experimental design and protocols and performs routine tasks and studies to obtain reproducible and reliable results with limited supervision.
• Plans, monitors or conducts, analyzes and records experiments, and provides interpretation of data.
• Effectively transfers experimental methods from literature to the lab and makes modifications as necessary.
