Job summary

Glyphic Biotechnologies in Berkeley, CA is seeking a Scientist or Senior Scientist to optimize and execute sample preparation workflows across DNA and RNA sequencing platforms. You will independently troubleshoot protocols for a broad range of inputs, generating high-quality data to benchmark ProSE performance and support glyphic\'s multi-omic strategy, including ProSE, RNA-seq, DNA-seq, and Ribo-seq.

Qualifications

• Degree in biochemistry, chemical biology, molecular biology, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience executing sample prep across nucleic acid platforms with quantitative readouts.
• Expertise in NGS library prep methods including extraction, quantification, amplification, and QC.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and process incoming biological samples for workflow readiness.
• Extract and quantify nucleic acids from samples across diverse matrices.
• Apply enrichment, depletion, and dynamic-range management to improve input quality for sequencing.
• Perform core molecular biology reactions to prepare samples for downstream analysis.
• Generate sequencing-ready outputs: libraries for DNA-seq, RNA-seq, and ribosome profiling.
• Run sequencing workflows end to end including platform setup and monitoring.
• Support reference material generation using cell culture techniques.
