Qualifications

• Prepare and analyze samples using microscopy and related techniques.
• Plan and execute microscopy studies to evaluate morphology, particle size and dispersion quality.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot microscopy equipment.
• Develop, refine imaging methods to improve data quality and relevance.
• Analyze data to identify structure-property-performance relationships across products.
• Collaborate with product development, technical service, process technology, manufacturing, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze samples such as pigments, fluoropolymers, inorganic materials, coatings, films, powders, dispersions.
• Plan and execute microscopy studies to evaluate morphology, particle size, interfaces, and material interactions.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot microscopy equipment.
• Develop and document sample preparation and imaging methods.
• Communicate findings through reports, presentations, and visual summaries for scientific and business audiences.
• Support safe laboratory operations and workflow improvements.
