Henkel is seeking a Senior Scientist in the Consumer Brands unit to develop new products and formulas. You will apply chemistry expertise to design, run, and interpret laboratory experiments, translating consumer needs into viable commercial products.

Collaboration with R&D, packaging, manufacturing, safety, and regulatory teams is essential to bring innovations to market. The role emphasizes bench work, data analysis, and rigorous documentation while ensuring safe, compliant laboratory

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant laboratory and industry experience or advanced degrees.

Mansioni

• Product Development and Formulation: Understand material structure–function relationships and develop prototype products based on desired performance requirements.
• Experimental Design and Laboratory Testing: Design and conduct experiments, develop screening methods, evaluate product performance, and ensure accurate testing and data collection.
• Data Analysis and Technical Reporting: Interpret experimental results, draw conclusions, recommend development strategies, compare competitive products, and report progress or issues promptly.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration and Project Management: Coordinate with R&D, packaging, manufacturing, safety, regulatory, and process development teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and successful product commercialization.
• Innovation, Documentation, and Laboratory Safety: Follow the innovation process and standard operating procedures, develop demonstrations and proof-of-concept methods, maintain laboratory records and equipment, and ensure a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
