Job summary

SystImmune, Inc. invites a Scientist or Senior Scientist to lead IHC assay development for companion diagnostics in oncology drug development. You will drive end-to-end work from biomarker discovery through assay optimization and validation, collaborating with R&D, regulatory, QA, and external labs.

The role demands strong pathology/IHC expertise, regulatory awareness, and the ability to align across multidisciplinary teams to deliver CDx readiness for clinical trials.

Qualifications

• PhD in Pathology, Immunology, Oncology, or related field.
• Hands-on IHC assay development experience in CDx/IVD setting.
• Experience supporting oncology biomarkers and clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Lead IHC-based CDx assay development from discovery to validation.
• Select antibodies and platforms; optimize staining and retrieval.
• Establish scoring, cut-offs, and interpretation with pathologists.
• Support regulatory and QA activities for CDx programs.
• Collaborate with CROs, labs, and external partners.
