Job summary

AbbVie seeks a highly motivated scientist to join the Quantitative, Translation & ADME Sciences (QTAS) team in North Chicago. You will lead in vitro assays, apply translational modeling, and evaluate new technologies to support mechanistic ADME understanding of drug candidates.

Strong publication record and excellent communication are required. The role emphasizes laboratory work, collaboration with discovery biology/pharmacology, and contribution to global in vitro ADME strategies to advance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with extensive ADME experience.
• Experience with hepatocytes and cell lines.
• Knowledge of IVIVE and DDI risk assessment.
• Strong publication record.
• Excellent communication and ability to work as a team member and independently.

Responsibilities

• Laboratory experiments in cellular and subcellular models.
• Evaluate in vitro tools for prediction of human PK and DDI potential.
• Collaborate with QTAS and biology teams to build translational models.
• Communicate findings on in vitro drug metabolism internally and externally.
• Stay current with literature and modeling approaches.
