Job summary

Wyss Institute at Harvard University seeks a collaborative program manager with strong scientific acumen to lead a fast-paced, government-funded program. You will oversee day-to-day operations, budgets, contracts, and reporting, coordinating with the Principal Investigator, senior staff, and Wyss Administration.

The role requires an advanced degree and at least six years of project management experience with multidisciplinary teams, plus exposure to regulatory and tech transfer processes.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life science, medicine, or engineering.
• Minimum six years in project management with multidisciplinary teams.
• PhD/MD may count towards years of experience.
• Experience with ARPA-H/BARDA/DARPA or other government-funded programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level program leadership and scientific support to ensure integrated execution of award requirements.
• Coordinate with government sponsors and Wyss Research Administration on budgets, reporting, and milestones.
• Oversee management of all award reporting, approvals, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with biosafety, data management, and IP/tech transfer processes.
