Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Senior Associate Scientist in Early Bioprocess Development to advance conjugation and purification methods for glycoconjugate vaccines. You will join a large, quality-focused team responsible for early development and scale-up, documentation, and data presentation in a cGMP/GLP environment.

The role emphasizes developing robust processes, collaboration with cross-disciplinary groups, data analysis, and timely reporting, with on-site work and relocation support if needed.

Qualifications

• BS or MS with relevant laboratory experience in organic chemistry or related discipline.
• Experience with analytical methods and instrument operation.
• Ability to document results in electronic notebooks with attention to compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and scale-up of glycoconjugate vaccine processes.
• Perform in-process analysis of glycoconjugates and intermediates.
• Evaluate and propose improvements to robustness and scalability of operations.
• Collaborate with Vaccine R&D groups including fermentation, purification, analytics, and formulation teams.
• Assist technology transfer to clinical manufacturing sites and provide technical support as needed.
• Maintain timely, compliant documentation and prepare technical reports.
