Job summary

Bora Bora Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Principal Scientist - Process and Formulation Development to drive early-stage formulation and process development for CDMO clients. You will lead teams, troubleshoot, and mentor staff while contributing to proposals and client interactions.

This hybrid role emphasizes QbD-based development, technology transfer, and lifecycle support from development through commercialization, with a focus on OSD manufacturing and new technologies.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with OSD formulation development.
• Strong knowledge of scale-up and process validation.
• Experience with technology transfer and manufacturing units.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply QbD for early-stage formulation development.
• Lead technology transfer and scale-up activities; support R&D/DOE and batch production.
• Define CPPs, establish process controls across development, scale-up, validation and commercial support.
• Provide hands-on support for pilot-scale and commercial equipment and lab suites.
• Lead and mentor junior scientists; communicate technical data to clients.
