Job summary

PCI Pharma Services is seeking a Process Development Scientist to lead and contribute to formulation and process design for complex drug products, including biologics and ADCs. You will act as SME on process development projects, collaborating with teams to meet milestones and ensure regulatory alignment.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, technology transfer, and cross-functional collaboration with QC, MTS, and Operations. A strong background in cGMP and analytics is required.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry or biochemistry with 0–3 years (PhD) or 5+ years (BS/MS) in pharmaceutical development or CDMO industry.
• Strong foundation in clinical-phase development and analytical characterization of drug products including biologics.

Responsibilities

• Lead Process Development projects as technical lead and SME for formulation and process design.
• Collaborate with senior scientists to achieve milestones on complex projects.
• Execute experiments to meet milestones with minimal supervision.
• Develop phase-appropriate process development strategies aligned with program objectives.
