Ostara Inc. seeks a Senior Scientist, Product and Analytical Development to lead the development, characterization, and optimization of fertilizer products, raw materials, and analytical methods.
You will serve as a SME in fertilizer chemistry, with emphasis on XRD, process troubleshooting, and product quality. The role combines product development, mineralogical analysis, manufacturing support, and technical commercialization to translate scientific findings into scalable business solutions.
Competenze
- Bachelor’s degree in formulation science or related field.
- 5+ years in product development and analytical chemistry; fertilizer technology preferred.
- Experience designing experiments and developing analytical methods.
Mansioni
- Lead bench- and pilot-scale development of fertilizer formulations.
- Define experimental plans and acceptance criteria for development programs.
- Lead mineralogical, physical, and chemical characterization of materials.
- Develop, validate, and maintain analytical methods and SOPs.
- Translate technical results into recommendations for commercialization and leadership.
