Job summary

American Technology Solutions International (ATSI) is seeking a highly experienced Scientist III to support NSWC Crane R&D efforts. The role emphasizes computational electromagnetic (EM) modeling with strong analytical and modeling capabilities to support Navy initiatives.

Required: ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in a life or physical science or engineering, 10+ years in the field, and active DoD SECRET clearance. Master's/PhD and TS/SCI are preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in Life or Physical Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Life or Physical Science.
• Experience constructing, modifying, and/or performing statistical/analytical investigations with mathematical/computer simulation models.
• Experience in computational EM modeling.
• Active DoD SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Construct, modify, and perform statistical analyses using mathematical/computer simulation models.
• Provide R&D support in computational EM modeling.
• Design and execute simulations to analyze system performance and physical phenomena.
• Interpret and validate model outputs, identifying trends and anomalies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support program objectives.
• Document methodologies, findings, and recommendations in reports and briefings.
• Support technical reviews and provide SME input to government stakeholders.
• Stay current with advancements in computational modeling techniques and EM tools.
