American Technology Solutions International Corp. (ATSI) seeks a Model Based Systems Engineer III to serve as a senior technical expert for NSWC Crane, developing, integrating and maintaining advanced system models across complex programs.

The role applies deep MBSE knowledge, UML modeling and leadership across teams to enhance design, validation and lifecycle management. Requirements include a ABET-accredited degree, 10+ years MBSE experience, and proficiency with Cameo/MagicDraw/Rhapsody;

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in systems/engineering or related field.
• 10+ years MBSE experience in complex engineering environments.
• Expert MBSE knowledge and standard frameworks (SysML-based).
• UML proficiency for modeling and documentation.
• Active SECRET clearance; TS/SCI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead MBSE architecture development for large-scale systems.
• Apply MBSE methodologies to guide project teams and ensure rigor.
• Develop and refine system models using standard MBSE tools.
• Represent system structures and behaviors with UML.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate requirements into models.
• Review and verify models for traceability and compliance.
• Mentor teams on MBSE best practices and tool usage.
• Support program reviews and stakeholder communications with model artifacts.
• Ensure model integration across requirements, design, and test phases.
