Job summary

American Technology Solutions International Corp. (ATSI) seeks a senior Model Based Systems Engineer III to advance MBSE architectures across NSWC Crane programs.

You will lead modeling activities, guide teams, and ensure rigorous model-based system representations aligned with program requirements. With 10+ years in MBSE and strong tool expertise (Cameo/MagicDraw, Rhapsody), you will mentor engineers, facilitate reviews, and support lifecycle integration from requirements through sustainment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from ABET-accredited institution in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 10+ years of MBSE experience in complex engineering environments.
• Expert knowledge of MBSE methodologies, standards, and frameworks (e.g., SysML-based).
• Proficiency with MBSE tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw, Rhapsody, or equivalent.
• Proficiency with UML for systems modeling and documentation.
• Active SECRET clearance required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance (TS/SCI preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead MBSE architectures, models, and workflows for large-scale systems.
• Guide project teams with MBSE methodologies to ensure modeling rigor.
• Develop and refine system models using industry-standard MBSE tools.
• Represent systems with UML diagrams for structures, behaviors, and interactions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate requirements into models.
• Review and validate models for traceability, accuracy, and compliance.
• Mentor teams on MBSE best practices, standards, and tools.
• Support program reviews and stakeholder communications using model-based artifacts.
• Ensure model integration across requirements, design, implementation, testing, and sustainment.
