Job summary

Judo Bio seeks a Senior Scientist to lead bioanalytical assay development and biomarker strategy in support of siRNA discovery and nonclinical programs. You will develop LC-MS/MS methods for oligonucleotides and small molecules, while overseeing CRO partners to deliver GLP-adjacent data for IND-enabling studies.

You will collaborate with DMPK, Pharmacology, Toxicology, and Regulatory to ensure regulatory-ready data packages for FIH filings, with leadership responsibilities and a focus on assay

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in analytical/bioanalytical chemistry or related field (or MS with hands-on industry experience).
• 5+ years in bioanalytical assay development using LC-MS/MS across oligonucleotide and small-molecule matrices.
• Proficiency with nanoLC-MS/MS, HRMS, and diverse chromatographic methods.
• Experience managing or overseeing CRO-generated data for nonclinical/IND programs.
• Knowledge of PK/PD bioanalysis and biomarker assay development for pharmacodynamics.
• Understanding regulatory expectations for nonclinical data supporting IND/FIH submissions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and qualify LC-MS/MS and chromatographic assays for siRNA and small-molecule quantitation in various matrices.
• Lead bench work including method development, sample prep, extraction, and instrument operation.
• Develop targeted proteomics or biomarker assays to support PD readouts and PK/PD relationships.
• Manage bioanalytical CROs: transfer methods, review data, monitor timelines, troubleshoot.
• Contribute to regulatory documents (IND Module 2.4/2.6, study reports).
• Collaborate with DMPK, Toxicology, and Pharmacology to plan assay strategies for GLP toxicology and FIH studies.
• Maintain instrumentation and ensure data integrity; set QC standards across internal and CRO sites.
• Support build-out of internal bioanalytical capabilities and SOPs.
