Scholar Rock, Inc. seeks a Senior Scientist to join the Antibody Discovery and Engineering group. You will design and execute antibody discovery campaigns using phage display and contribute to display-based strategies.

Hands-on phage display experience is required; yeast display preferred. You will also advance leads through biochemical/biophysical characterization and partner with protein sciences and structural biology teams.

Formación

• PhD in life sciences or related field with industry/postdoc experience, or MS/BS with relevant experience.
• Hands-on antibody discovery and optimization using phage display required; yeast display preferred.
• Knowledge of antibody formats, library design or screening principles, and sequence-based clone assessment.
• Prot purification techniques including affinity/ion-exchange/size-exclusion chromatography.
• Ability to characterize proteins and antibodies using biochemical/biophysical methods.

Responsabilidades

• Design, execute, and troubleshoot antibody discovery campaigns using phage display.
• Optimize antibody leads with display-based tech and developability screening.
• Express and purify recombinant antibodies and related proteins.
• Characterize binding, affinity, stability, and purity of candidates.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to advance discovery programs.
• Mentor junior colleagues and provide scientific leadership.
