Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a computational Senior Scientist to advance agent-enabled workflows for discovery. You will design, prototype, and validate agentic cheminformatics approaches, working with ISD/CADD, biologists, and data scientists to deliver scalable capabilities.

The role emphasizes cross-disciplinary collaboration, independent work, and delivering reusable workflows in scientific environments, with travel up to 10% and a focus on high-value projects across global

Qualifications

PhD or equivalent in cheminformatics, computational chemistry, medicinal chemistry or related field.
Strong Python programming and experience building automated workflows.
Experience with AI-assisted development of scientific software and workflows.

Responsibilities

Design, prototype, and validate agent-enabled workflows for high-value discovery questions.
Collaborate with data science and platform teams to translate scientific needs into reusable capabilities.
Evaluate agent behavior for scientific validity, reproducibility, and robustness across scenarios.
Lead the scientific design, prototyping, and validation of agent-enabled discovery workflows.
Partner with project teams and users to drive adoption and feedback for production implementations.
