Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting a Principal Scientist, Scientific Workflows & Agentic Cheminformatics to join our In Silico Drug Discovery team. The position is based in Spring House, PA or Cambridge, MA with some travel; no remote option.

Strong background in data science and scientific workflows.
Experience with agent-based or cheminformatics approaches is a plus.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and scientific portfolios.

Responsibilities

Lead the scientific design, prototyping, and validation of agent-enabled workflows.
Partner with data science and platform engineering teams from an early stage.
Establish evidence, adoption models, and partnerships to move concepts forward.
Define reusable approaches to translate complex scientific questions into workflows.
Develop and test agentic prototypes in realistic discovery settings.
Provide scientific and technical leadership across a portfolio of prototypes.
Drive adoption of agentic capabilities by integrating into scientific environments.
Build collaborations with chemists, biologists, and data scientists to address discovery questions.
