Job summary

Open Scientific is hiring an experienced Scientific & Engineering Recruiter to join our Hauppauge, NY office. We recruit top talent in the scientific, engineering and manufacturing sectors for R&D and manufacturing roles in pharma, biotech, medical devices, and related industries.

The recruiter will perform full-cycle recruiting for temporary, contract-to-hire and direct hire positions, sourcing candidates via social media, databases and referrals, and screening to assess fit.

Qualifications

• BS in Biology, Chemistry, or related science or engineering field is a plus.
• Proficient in internet search techniques and social media sourcing.
• Highly organized with excellent time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform full cycle recruiting for temporary, contract-to-hire and direct hire roles in sciences and biotech.
• Source candidates via social media, databases, and industry referrals.
• Screen resumes, conduct phone/in-person interviews, assess fit.
• Maintain candidate communications and document recruiting activity in ATS.
