Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with at least three years designing or teaching secondary science and a track record of rigorous, culturally responsive materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred for curriculum writing.
• Minimum three years designing or teaching secondary science.
• Experience creating rigorous, culturally responsive materials aligned to standards.

Responsibilities

• Design full-course curricula for middle school science including scope and sequence.
• Develop student lessons, labs, projects, and assessments.
• Ensure alignment to New York State standards and the school's vision.
• Collaborate with academic leaders and coaches to ensure coherence across courses.
• Iterate materials based on educator feedback and performance data.
