Job summary

Keystone Central School District is seeking a Food and Nutrition Services Supervisor with a strong background in meal program administration and budget management. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's in food service management or nutrition and dietetics, with a Masters or RD preferred and Serv Safe certification.

• Bachelor's degree in food service management or nutrition and dietetics required.
• Master's degree and/or Registered Dietitian preferred.
• Serv Safe Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and recommend goals, policies, and programs for the food and nutrition service department and administer all district food service programs in accordance with district policies.
• Develop and administer department budget with the assistance of supervisor. Balance food and nutrition service fund monthly.
• Help ensure food and nutrition service department operates on a sound financial basis.
• Develop and operate special government food subsidy programs and prepare necessary reports.
• Supervise the preparation of management and statistical information, perform analysis, and prepare necessary reports and recommendations.
• Develop clear functional specifications and detailed bid system for food, supplies, and equipment utilized by the food and nutrition service program.

Education

Bachelor's degree in food service management or nutrition and dietetics

Master's degree and/or Registered Dietitian preferred

Serv Safe Certification required
